Come inside and have a look at the European Tour Physio unit. This world class facility travels across Europe to European Tour events throughout the season to provide the World’s best players with physiotherapy, performance and sports medicine services and training facilities.

Lecturing on “Fitness for Golf” for the CPD Course at the PGA Academy for several years, allowed us to gain a detailed understanding of the physical demands of the professional golfer. Reach Wellness has worked with the European Tour’s Physio Unit for over a decade. In December 2016, Reach Wellness was appointed by the ETPI to review the existing provision on the Physio Unit and to source and supply cutting edge health and fitness equipment, working closely with Rob Hillman (Physio Unit Director).

As space is at a premium, we provided Solid Infinity System (fitted to the interior wall of the unit) for functional training together with IC7 Bikes (with Direct Power meter and Coach by Colour technology) for warm up purposes. In addition a bespoke ESP Half Rack was installed due to the ceiling height restrictions. Functional Training and Olympic Lifting have now become essential elements of training for golf professionals. The new equipment reflects the necessity for players to maintain high standards of strength and conditioning to perform and compete successfully on the European Tour.
